Sound Activated Alarming Base Stations Sound Activated Base Stations provide threshold level control for sound activation, and relay contacts for activating other annunciations, such as, cameras, lights, etc. Alarming Base Stations are available in 4, 8, 12 and 25 zones. The 25 zone unit (Model DG-25III) can be cascaded up to 250 zones. As a system with remote microphones or speaker/microphones, they provide either one-way or bi-directional communications between the base units and the remote zones. Models DG-12II/DG-25III require companion unit DG-MA for bi-directional audio or DG-Monitor for one-way listen. In addition, Model DG-12II/DG-25III provide a variable time delay for each zone (from 0 and 3.2 seconds) for reducing false alarms.
